The Board of Directors of Ahlsell has decided to use the authorization for repurchase of own shares granted by the Annual General Meeting on May 4, 2017. Up to 7.0 million shares will be acquired.
The main purpose of the repurchase is to secure the implementation of the Group’s long-term incentive plan. Currently, equity swaps (amounting to 5.3 million shares) are used for this, which will be terminated in connection with the repurchase. The total number of outstanding shares in Ahlsell amounts to 436,302,187.
The authorization may be exercised on one or more occasions for the period until the end of the next Annual General Meeting. The repurchase shall be conducted on Nasdaq Stockholm at a price that is within the price range between the highest purchase price (best bid) and the lowest selling price (best offer) prevailing.
