6/15/2023 12:00 PM Ahlsell acquires B-Max Svets AB, thereby strengthening its offering in customer-specific solutions for steel structures

Ahlsell Sverige AB has entered into an agreement to acquire all shares in B-Max Svets AB, a manufacturer of steel structures for prefabricated walls and steel halls. The company has 20 employees and annual sales of approximately 35 MSEK.

B-Max Svets is based in Stenkullen outside Gothenburg, in close proximity to Ahlsell's previous acquisition SKB Väst, a supplier to the assembly and prefab industry. With this acquisition, Ahlsell strengthens its offering through an expanded product range and increased expertise in steel structures. In addition, Ahlsell broadens its position in the market and can offer an even stronger overall solution to an expanded customer segment.

The acquisition is expected to be completed in early July 2023.
